If you cannot have any semblance of peace and goodwill and understanding on a place like this, what hope is there for the wider world?

It's a strange, weird and sometimes dysfunctional world Adey, but it's that which makes us strong.......I keep telling myself...

Couldn't are less whether it is or it isn't. More important things in life like losing your job a fortnight before Xmas.

I hope everyone finds work sooner rather than later

Absolutely. Bad enough to be losing your job but at this time of year it's a kick in the teeth. I really do thank everyone who's leaving for the work they've put in and I hope they will be back in work very soon.

Can I add ask in the interest of the board that folk on here try and be at least civil to each other for the rest of the year?

I'm sure many on here wouldn't speak to each other in person in the same way as many do on this board.

I'm meant to be a mod and am frankly getting a bit cheesed off with the snidiness, belittling, self aggrandising, and downright insulting stuff I read, and that's just what's in my Christmas card from Pumpetypump.

Goodwill to all and all that.

Very sad to see people go just before Christmas, i hope they find alternative employment soon. Must be hard to know the RFL had a hand in this by keeping the Sky money as well as poor management

The withholding of sky money wasn't a decision made by the RFL, it was the other SL clubs. I've been been a home and away supporter for as long as I can remember but I'll be picking my away games next year carefully. I had hoped the other clubs might reconsider how our share of tv money is used but I haven't seen anything to suggest they'll do anything but divvy it up between themselves again. I do however appreciate the support we received from a small number of clubs so I hope to still see a few games on the road next year.

If I go to an away Superleague tie I'll make sure I buy my tickets through the bulls so they get a percentage.

When attending the game I intend to spend not one penny at the away ground. No programmes, pies, drinks nothing .

So how many players last time u went tits up did you HAVE to sell. If you had sold your prize assets like club have done recently you wouldnt have needed bailing out and now would have been on full sky money. So dont cry the victim

You being a recent poster on this site felt the absolute need to join, just to slate us off? Particularly when we have just heard that staff are being made redundant, with two of our prizes assets already sold (Bateman and Whitehead) as you like to describe our playing staff. Not to forget the 16 staff who were redundant when in administration, and unless you have faced anything like this in your life (you must have, otherwise where would your bitterness come from) you cannot possibly comment, or expect any respect for your views!

PS Do you mean London? If so hardly a like for like scenario is it?
