Agree with that, Jeffries is better than anything we've got atm, and Potter obviously doesn't think Briggs can cut it?

As Asim says, the whole way that we gave away Hyde in favour of Southernwood, then brought back Jeffries because we don't think Briggs is any good, stinks the joint out....

As for Kyle Briggs, we might as well just let him go back to Fev and be done with it.

Also depressed, why we can't give Briggs a proper run is anyone's guess, he must have seriously annoyed Potter. I doubt Jefferies is better than anything we have TBH and if we have given him an 18 month contract then I despair. Much rather stick Cain out there with Briggs and see what happens. Jefferies is the sort of signing that will make lots of people groan and not the type of player to be ensuring those who have returned this year continue to come back.

hmmm, not sure about that signing! if i was southernwood or briggs it will have put my back right up!! dont think he is a player who will pull us out of this hole , just seems like the kind of player who is happy to go through the motions and be happy with average , doesnt seem to have the heart for it to me .... kind of like a karl pryce loads of ability ........ when he can be bothered , which isnt very often is it , but we will see i guess.

If this is true then once again I get it completely spot on, this time in regards to Briggs. About time you started listening to me.

I wonder if all those so quick to condemn me will be as quick to apologise?

The reason we let that other stand-off go was to get the apparently much better young prospect Cain Southernwood in, but he seemingly isn't trusted to get anywhere near the first team?
