The reason we let that other stand-off go was to get the apparently much better young prospect Cain Southernwood in, but he seemingly isn't trusted to get anywhere near the first team?

I would say Jeffries is quite average so not really good news. It does give herbert a partner now though so maybe now (barring injuries) we'll have some consistency in the halves.

which surely has to be good news? it is a team game after all, and if as you say a player can improve other players games whilst not being worse than what is already available (and BJ's stats are all better than KB's) then that must lead to an overall better team performance, which is good news?
