Both solid Championship hookers, both have had good seasons, especially Wildie, who whilst best at 9 can also fill in effectively at half back. Both would have been on contracts at Fev that the club wasn't willing to replicate after missing the top 4. It's been well documented for a while that Wildie has been talking to Bradford, though the rumour about Carlile had been a possible move to York. Perhaps all won't become clear until promotion has been decided.
I haven't seen much of your other hookers but they'd both be much better all-round players than Flanagan in my opinion (as good as he is near the line).
