1 major drawback in that proposal, it makes the RFL look complete and utter incompetent fools. They stole (paid a pittance) for the lease to safe guard rugby league at the iconic stadium in Bradford, also where will the bulls get £20m from to build a new stadium. The reason the waste recycling deal didn't come off was probably due to having to fund a stadium fit for the bulls to play in. Odsal is costing more and more each year just to keep up to current H & S regulations ( the council knew what they were doing off-loading that millstone with a near £5m sweetener, which was squandered) Is any business really going to pay £20m over the odds for odsal lease when in theory all they have to do is bide their time and wait for the land to become vacant. Just got to hope there is a philanthropist bidding and not just cold hard business men

The highest placed L1 club by now has recruited for that division with a view to winning promotion and would not easily be able to compete in Championship. They would be in danger of relegation and being worse off in a years time than they they are now.



Getting planning permission for a waste disposal site is fraught with danger. Petitions from local people could delay things for years and that's always assuming the council would support the proposal in the first place.



You are looking at things purely from a Bulls perspective. Other people and organisations that are involved will have different priorities.

No doubt if it doesn't it would be viewed as favouritism. We should be looking no higher than the Pennine League for loan signings, it's only fair.

The sharks thing is misleading. The RFL have actually applied another penalty. All opposition teams can field one shark or another man eating animal of their choice as an additional defender.

Seen as though the Bulls are supposed to be playing at Huddersfield in Luke Robinsons testimonial game 2 week today, could we come up with any ideas as to how that game could still go ahead. How many more ex Bulls players would they need to sign to get a full team to play against so we wouldn't need to send a team that day.
