Not sure how much, but money will be involved.....he has 2 years left.

In two minds about Atkins.....he is our leading scorer and has massive potential.......but he cant pass (or wont!).

Is that not also the exact amount they were quoted to be paying for Myler?

Myler to wire for 300K

"But Myler is looking certain to join known admirers Warrington at the end of the season with a record deal of around £300,000 on the cards following the Wolves’ £250,000 cash windfall for reaching the Carnegie Challenge Cup final at Wembley."

Stange coincedence. But no surprise that wire are spending to get in the players they want. It will also be no surprise if Millard goes to whichever club might be willing to offer more money, as from his perspective he might not see too much difference in the clubs in any other respect.

Re Millard......if you get him, which side do you think you will use him on??

Just seen a highlights of him, and have said on the wakey site that he looks a much better right centre than left (although not shabby on the left either!!!!).

He is clearly left handed and left footed, and all his offloads and steps are towards his wingman on the right and back inside when on the left.

I'd use him on the right too for those reasons and it'd hopefully shore up the defence, Sykes has been poor in defence all season there.

Atkins is expected to be joined at the Halliwell Jones Stadium by Salford’s England scrum-half Richard Myler and a front-row signing – possibly Celtic Crusaders’ Mark Bryant.

Wigan stand-off Mark Flanagan is heading to Wests Tigers, who are also set to sign England forward Sam Burgess from Bradford for 2010."

Interesting, but its the express though, so I'm not taking any that as gospel yet thanks I'll wait until one of the clubs involved makes a statement I reckon.

As a neutral fan im gutted that Sam Burgess is going to leave Super League for the NRL, however, I think he and Gareth Ellis will make a cracking pair together playing for the Wests.

Think this could pave the way for you too trying to get Ashley Gibson imo.

3 English players at Wests? I'll believe it when I see it. They'll be needing an import quota soon :)

I'll be gutted to see him go, but if we get the right deal and he wants to go then fair enough.

Ash Gibson? No thanks.

It was in the express, so I'll definately only believe it when I see it.

There are rumours and people claiming knowledge of him staying at Bradford or signing for Souths, Manly and Wests next season.... some people are quite wrong/on the wind up/have no clue but are having a guess ...or Sams going to be very busy next year.

We'll know when the Bulls release a statement once they work out how they can spin it to a positive....so that might be some time yet, depends which "irons in the fire" we end up with I suspect.

Damn, this was the only potential signing I was actually excited about. And now it looks like he's off to Wakey.

Gutted
