I also have a good vibe about this. I am unnerved by the goodness of my vibe about someone I really know very little about.

It's not even slightly the Smith connection. There's just something about his background and the path he's taken that smells right.

I've set an alarm in my calendar for a year from now so I can come back and call us all nobheads.

Ross has tweeted naylor, adamson and morro did apply but cartwright did not. Waiting on visa but should be here within 2 weeks, diskin in charge till then.

Hardly a poisoned chalise just yet then.

Matty Elliott was definitely in line for the role but it obviously didn't work out in the end and he has kicked it sideways to young Smith. I was a site closer than anyone else, who were all praying for Glen Morrison

It's fine to post rumours and stuff on here, it adds to the discussions. But next time maybe just cover your ass a little bit and don't be quite so blind to the possibility that your info might be a bit wide of the mark!

Explain how specifying it was Matthew Elliott and getting it wrong, makes you closer than anyone else... I'm confused?? You didn't say Rohan Smith so therefore you are equally wrong with everyone who said anyone else's name but Rohan.

Anyway... Like others have said, there seems like a good feeling about this one! Tell will tell.

Fair point but it's not so wide off the mark. Ross from the T&A has mentioned elliott recommending him. Why would elliott of been involved at all if he didn't officially apply?!?! Because we approached him.

And if that happened, it was immediately pointed out to the enquirer that he has three media jobs which all pay more than head coach of the Bulls does and he's running his own business. Hence why nobody believed it for even half a second.

Also a fair point but he has said before on the record that he would like to return to coaching at some point.

Anyway I'm actually very pleased with the appointment.
He'll definitely have some useful contacts back in aus in the likes of his old man and matty.
