I think its simply a case of a player wanting to play at the highest level available to him week in week out. If there had been no superleague club offer or we were still in superleague he'd have signed for us I'm sure, as it is he's just decided to play at the level he clearly belives hes able to (quite rightly for him IMHO). I'd have loved Leon back but if he can play on in super league then fair play.
It also sounds positive that Marc Green has said the club will look to "invest strongly" in the playing staff if we go down, we'll have to wait and see who we attract/who we let go/who we retain once relegation is confirmed. Clearly though talks are going on regarding next season, its just we've not heard about them, but we have heard about this one beacuse its Leon.

didnt he say similar when took over about bringing reinforcements in to try and stay in SL. Since then we've seen Fakir and a raft of loan players who go back to their parent clubs as soon as they get match fit. Meanwhile Green hides behind comments about players not wanting to sign for a club in a relegation position, despite Salford and wakefield both managing to bring players in whilst in same situation.
Green made a comment when he too over that he wasnt a talker and we should judge him on his actions. So far pretty much all he's done is talk. Hopefully we do have players lined up but not announced until relegation is confirmed, but until we atart announcing players I'm still nervous about Greens long term plans.
