It was always Smith from the start, blew Green away on Skype two weeks ago apparently - my source was on the call and was staggered by his knowledge, ideas and how he wants to play rugby

Redbull, how can you state everyone else was wide of the mark when I told this forum over a week ago who our new coach would be and is?

Poor effort at reflection ;)

Let's not argue and get behind our new bright young coach

Oh, I am quite excited. It's been a while since anything Bulls related has raised a glimmer of excitement.

I wonder what radical ideas he will bring? I bet he is one of these visionaries with lots of harebrained schemes, like a scrum half or other such nonsense...

And it will all be your fault if Rohan doesn't live up to our expectations!

Frank should be given freedom of the forum as he actually called this way before anyone else.

This was my moles text after the meeting;

Bold, intelligent, progressive, ambitous and daring.

He appears thoughtful, immaculately schooled and whilst holding a legacy connection with the club isn't hampered or held back by it. Let the journey begin and the new Bradford Bulls looking to the future not the past finally emerge.

Amen

Fair point but it's not so wide off the mark. Ross from the T&A has mentioned elliott recommending him. Why would elliott of been involved at all if he didn't officially apply?!?! Because we approached him.

This is tiresome. Just admit you were presenting speculation/ rumours as fact.
Surely the most likely explanation is that an ex Bulls coach was asked by one of his former players for an opinion. Highly likely Mick Potter was also asked for an opinion.
I suspect Brian Smith was considered a little too close to be objective

Re: New Coach poll : Thu May 05, 2016 10:10 pm
The appointment of Rohan Smith has a really good feel to it.

When Marc Green took over, one of the first things he did was invest heavily in the youth setup. That was in my opinion the wisest decision he has taken.

Only two years later the investment is already beginning to bear fruit with the likes of Ryan, Lumb and Oakes breaking through. From what we hear there are several other budding kids in the pipeline too, with the U19's beating Wigan U19's last weekend, while the U16's smashed the Hull Academy.

Thank you Marc Green. And good luck Rohan Smith. A couple of shrewd signings and we should start to see the turnaround very soon!
