Me too.

As for any who leave, well good luck to them - you can't ask more than they see out their contract. Whoever leaves we have the money to spend on new signings so, much as there are certainly a few I'd prefer to retain, it's basically qué sera sera, for me.

Even if they have been woefully under-used and left to sit on their booty!

To be fair, I was thinking mainly about the ones we don't really want to lose, but in truth, the same applies to all. All those blokes signed in good faith and I'm sure they would have much preferred to play.

Well to be strictly accurate, he says they want to stay with the club not that they have signed.

The phrase politically correct is in itself politcally incorrect so should be rephrased politically stupid!

If you like old type radio comedy/ dramas etc listen to //pumpkinfm.com/

Statistically speaking you have a better chance of getting dead the older you get!

Thank god only when you find a religion that passes the truth test!

Well that's good to hear. Hopefully there's a few other players who feel the same and the club will move to sign them up too

Pleased to see Clare wants to stay at the club. At the moment, I still feel he's a better winger than FB but with a bit more work on his positioning he might be a decent FB longer term. He certainly has plenty of pace and he looks to be enjoying himself at the moment and is doing a good job filling the FB role for us. I'd probably prefer to see somebody there with a bit more ball skills though as well as the running threat.

Would agree with that BB, though most of those with 'ball skills' are being pushed into halfback at the moment, which I guess is understandable.

Clare looks the player who is most assured at the back and as you say is a running threat, so I'd have him as my no.1. That said, we do still have at least one player who was signed as a fullback who I don't think has had a game there yet.

Not sure, I think Clare is making the FB spot his own. He's safe as houses under high ball, very good defensively, and his running game is a threat. He's definitely improving coming into the line and his running his putting players on the back door. He's very good at drawing the man in too. Passing he still needs to work on, but for me he is becomin an excellent FB. He's one of our most dangerous players in attack and I want to see him with as much ball as possible.

Either way, it's a brilliant re-signing.
