As for Conroy, it's a shame to see young players leave, but he wasn't in the same class as O'Brien. It looks like Halafihi will be the number 2 next season.
Being our no. 2 hooker at the Bulls barely gets you any more game time than being no.3, 4 or 5 unfortunately.
After getting on the field in SL, and looking a decent prospect, I suppose Conroy might have reasonably expected to get even more in the championship, though, as pointed out elsewhere, with Lowes and Diskin on the staff we should be confident in our hooking options.
