I bought tickets for the recent game with Wakefield online on their web-site. As suggested by the club for away fans I entered the ground through the western terrace turnstiles, and there was no problem with this at all despite having a "Wakefield" ticket.
There is no segregation as such between the west and north terraces (unless they recruit a load of extra stewards for this weekend), but the Fax fans did congregate on the west and left the north to Wakefield. In the cup game, we were on the north terrace (but I think the west terrace was closed?) - no problems that I saw, just plenty of good-natured banter - more at stake with this game though!
3000+ fans on the west terrace? No cover (except at the southern end) and it'll be a bit of a tight squeeze in a place with a pretty rubbish view of the game. I suspect a significant proportion may drift towards the north stand which is marginally better in terms of actually seeing the game.
East stand is seating, with a rubbish view on a small terrace in front. South "stand" is those horrible looking boxes that probably have a really good view of the game.
The tannoy is very clear and annoyingly very (very, very) loud.
Put aside what's gone before, and do the Championship proud!!! Hard as it is for me as a Fax fan, I'll be behind you all the way on Saturday.
The only downside if you win will be a trip to Belle Vue next season.....
