Ok, actual news. Progress at last. It's not everything I wanted to hear but it's still a damn sight better than some of the alternatives we could have had today. Noone will be optimistic until we start to see the detail.

We have some certainty at last and we seemingly once again exist as a club.

So far, that's all can be said, and it's not much, just a lot better than the alternative.

I'm under no illusion that the coming weeks and months will be anything less than grim, though.

I'm hanging on to the thought, WHY DID CHA-LO GET INVOLVED? Lowe is Lowe, and as ex-NZ RL chair etc., you can't imagine either of them having an appetite to fund an also-ran little northern England skint operation. I can't think of many explanations that make sense if they don't include major ambitions for the Bulls, because if they haven't, then I am at a loss to explain what they are doing here.

I think its a decent press release .it tells you the rebuilding job is beginning but doesnt fill your heads with fanciful nonsense.
You can imagine some of the guff that would have been thrown at them had they held a press conference

I've got a little bit of that left in me, but not a lot.

These people aren't Caisley, they aren't Hood, they aren't Khan and Sutcliffe, they aren't Mark Moore and they aren't Marc Green (have I missed anyone from the list of shame?). Time will tell if they are to be added to that list, but at the moment they are the people that want to give us a club.

I can spare them a shred of gratitude and they can go double or quits on that with Rohan Smith and the same again with the Academy.
