Absolute madness. It's already May and teams will be planning their acquisitions and retentions for 2018 - yet the governing body don't appear to have decided what the structure will be for next season!

Is it really too much to ask that they'd decide on a format well in advance, let everyone know and then stick to it? It's no wonder we don't seem to be able to move forward as a sport when we have this kind of leadership.

The 42 member clubs are voting on the new structures in June. It's a good interview, well worth a listen. It's such a shame I'm the only journalist prepared to put the hard yards in to get the truth. Oh well.

If it's who I've heard it would cause an atomic uproar in Halifax..
And I personally can't see how we would be better off unless there's a millionaire involved?

With Gareth Roberts on board the Odsal redevelopment, it must be said the future is looking incredibly prosperous.
