Seemed to me he was involved with most things that went to sh#t that weren't Platt related last night. If we had the cover I'd be tempted to drop him.

Newton is a shadow of the player he once was. At Wigan he was irrepressible. A constant threat at dummy half. Involved to some extent in almost every play. Probably the fittest man at the club. He was always available to take that try-scoring pass after running fifty yards in support.
