Young, quick, local and academy trained, this is exactly the sort of deal we want to see.
From what's happened it looks like his last one year deal was a kick up the booty which he's responded to the right way.

Nope. The 1 year deal before was because the club wouldn't offer decent terms on a longer deal, so Halley himself opted for just 1 year, presumably with the intention of proving himself.
