A thoroughly professional and 80 minute performance. I thought we completely dominated them for just about the full 80 mins and they never looked likely to win against a very determined and disciplined Bulls outfit.

Elliot Whitehead was absolutely superb once again, he has all the attributes to be very special indeed. So glad he is a Bull.

Well done Macca and the Bulls, you've been building to this performance for a few weeks now. Don't let standards slip now in Scotland!

Our pack was superb today. It completely dominated the KR pack and they never got anywhere near the game.

Rovers fans were complaining about the referee. No doubt Child caned them, but it was purely down to some quite awful discipline. They got walloped in the penalty count and it could have been a hell of a lot more. If I were a coach in charge of a team with discipline like that, I'd have been absolutely fuming.

The one decision I thought they had right to be peeved at though was our last try. How was that pass from Whitehead not called forward?

Oh and I completely missed what Webster was sent off for as I was looking at the clock at the time!

Looked a mile forward but we're due some luck.

Pretty bad head high tackle on Donaldson. The Hull KR players seemed intent on injuring somebody towards the end so I am glad Child had the balls to send him off.

Firstly, the thing that pleased me most today was the defence - absolutely top notch.

Secondly our pack - It dominated theirs for just about the full 80 and Scrutons hit in the first 15 inutes was superb.

Worrincy has been given the kick up the backside he needed and he has responded well. Good work in defence made a good break and didn't look out of his depth. How good is Elliott Whitehead though? This guy is going to be world class, excellent work rate in defence, great first try. MoM by far for me.

Nobody had a bad game today and I have no complaints. Sheriffe's finishing is alot better and we are playing well from 1-17.

As Hood said in the programme, it wasn't a case of letting him go. McNamara has had this ambition for some time now and he effectively made the boards mind up for them by signing the England contract before the board had chance to offer him one.


As you say, we have a special team, which I believe will continue to be special under our new coach.
