Fully expect the game to go ahead as the snow is slowly thawing in this area. Its then down to who plays the heavy conditions the best. One thing for sure who ever plays halfback for us will need to come up with a good kicking game or where in trouble!

Weather forecast is ok overnight and tomorrow. If the pitch has been cleared, I would fully expect the rest of the ground to have been started on..... Too much riding on tomorrow with the "new start" to lose it due to health and safety.

Doom and gloom from Mick posting pictures that are not relevent to the current state! Same pictures posted on the Wigan forum - prob put a few off from travelling all ready!

I clearly said that those were from three days before the Halifax game to show them the hard work that will go into clearing the terraces.

I very much doubt anyone will be put off by a bit of snow.

a few of us getting train at 10:17 , and was worried if we left it till after the inspection we would miss the game. but we will risk it.

We're setting off at 1030 regardless. Heading to the nags head in huddersfield for a spot of lunch. Can see the game going ahead myself. Will be a big test for both sides

Does anybody know if the pitch is covered? I think the snow will be gone by morning just a chance of a waterlogged pitch fingers crossed it goes ahead.
