Did you actually attend the game on Sunday. The club played in the new shirts and then had the photo shoot on Monday, it was on Look North. The Squad numbers are on the website. On the news page under Cummins announces Squad Numbers. What more do you want. The reason they wont be on the squad page will be because they wont have had the pics from the photo shoot yet.
My eyes must be getting bad. Looked like last years away shirt from where I was sat. If this years away shirt is very similar to last years away shirt that would explain why there have been rumours of RFL having a problem with it.

Indeedy do. Starting at FB, did you think that Brett Kearney, resplendent in his new No. 1 shirt, has a whole new look? Seemed like a different player to me. As did Luke George, wearing 20. In fact, he'd shrunk and gone blond. Amazing.

"What more do we want"? Er, the squad to be on the squad page! It ain't rocket science. And you wouldn't need any pictures from any photoshoot. Until you get them, just yer actual squad would do fine. They could even have copy and pasted it.
Your suggestion is so lame it's embarrassing. On the "news" page there's a menu of about 20 items and "Cummins confirms squad numbers" is somewhere amongst that lot, are you seriously suggesting that this is enough to compensate for the fact that there is no mention of this on the actual Squad page?
Anyway, as you seem to be in the know, can you clear another thing up for me. In Franny's stated confirmation, it says that Danny Addy is number 16. yet at the presentation evening he got presented number 17.
What more do I want? Well, maybe we could start with the answer to that?
I also thought that the new shirts looked awful. As I predicted when they were released, from any distance you just don't get any sense of red and amber being important at all, they all blur into a sort of dark purple stripe look; and from the back, they are basically just plain white. Worst looking kit for ages. Ok for casual wear but as a team strip I hate it.

Hate to agree but up close it looks brill, but during play it just looked like black and white bands, couldn't make out the red or amber, I do like it and it's by no means a horrid kit just doesn't look right during the match from a distance.
So, is there a 16, or has it been abducted by aliens? It is clear that this is a mystery too hard for normal men. I have called in a couple of friends to solve the mystery of whether the shirt numbers are as presented, or as claimed in News on the website. They are all over it. I will report back soon

Reserved for SBW when, in a totally unexpected masterstroke, he signs for the club he has wanted to play for since before he was born, nay before he was even conceived...
Wildcard shirt available for FA or anyone else who fancies propping when our limited front row options get fekked by injuries?
They ran out of number "6"s in the club shop?
Someone at Odsal can't count?
The club Feng Sui practitioner has ruled that there is bad joss with no. 16?
It's a club ploy to get the fans guessing...bit like find the blue smartie?
It seems to me that 16 was originally Winterstein's number. When he left, nobody thought much of it.
Come the Presentation night, they realised Winterstein wasn't here any more and just missed out his number.
Whoever was in charge of the media release though, had the list in a nice Excel Spreadsheet, where someone hadn't been bothered to type in the individual numbers, they simply put the formula in for "Cell Above + 1" and Filled Down. Ooo look, I've saved myself a load of typing work by getting Excel to count for me! Time to send them out, oh b*gger, Winterstein isn't here any more. That's ok, I'll just delete the row. Excel recalculates all the people below him, and they are suddenly given one squad number up from where they originally were. Nobody notices. Media release gets sent out.
Ok I may have dramatised ever so slightly, but I wouldn't be surprised if that isn't far from the truth.
At least if they haven't printed the numbers onto the shirts yet though, they can just go with the mistake ones sent out in the media release, and pretend the 200 people at the shirt presentation were victims of a mass hallucination.
It must be said though that 16 is a really gobsmackingly interesting number. After a whole internet of research, the top interesting facts about the number 16 that Jeeves comes up with are the astonishing (please be sure you are sitting down before reading further)...
