Maybe the club should put a 'clicker' on the website, y'know updated each time anyone enters 'membership' on the till?..or is it commercially sensitive information? Then again, that would probably depend on whether sales were running away or a bit on the slackside..and I don't mean the one in Wibsey..

What! Slackside isn't in Wibsey!! Don't tell me it's been annexed by Bank Top so they can take all the council tax..

So where's Slackside WMC then FA? [I know it's on beacon road and about half a good stone's throw from Wibsey Park, well it is if it's still open, I've not lived around there for yonks..]...oh and about half a mile from both Slack End and Slack Bottom, all of which were always regarded as being part of Wibsey when I were a lad.

I hope you're not going to tell me they've all been done away with in some PC [gone mad] orgy of clearing up by the council [appellation of areas, eradication of suggestive names, sub committee], and expunged from the map?

Well, er ... Slackside WMC is in ... Slackside. It may have been assimilated by the Borg sorry Council for ward purposes but that doesn't count. They would claim that Slack Bottom Road is actually in "Royds". Which is obviously equal nonsense. Meh.
