An attempt to figure out who the best teams in SL were against us. Win ratio against us plotted against mean points difference against us. Only the weekly rounds for this, no finals series included. If you're to the right of the vertical dotted lines then you average more points against us than you have conceded to us. If you're above the horizontal dotted line then you have won more games against us than we have against you.
You will notice how much worse than the recently relegated team most of the rest of the league is.
I was surprised by some of the names. Crusaders? But then they didn't turn up in the league until we started to nose dive. They never got us in our pomp. I haven't weighted this in any way to account for number of times a team has played us. Play us once and win by fifty and you're going to look pretty good here.
There's a clustered area of teams there that I can't be bothered labelling. We'll call it Huddersfield and district.
Down at the bottom and receding to the left are the Oldhams, Workingtons, etc that showed their faces but did not last long.
Done in an Economist style because gravitas.
