Leeds have gone from being written off, by a number of their fans & opposition speccies, due to their ageing squad, to possibly their greatest ever side within a period of weeks. Wigan are an average side, punching above their weight IMO with a lightweight back. Saints, Wire & Hudds are as good or better on paper than Wigan. Cats have been unlucky with injuries to Carney in particular. The only big gap is between Leeds & the rest, in theory. They are a joy to watch & deserve their success, but I don't think they are going to do a clean sweep without a struggle. It would be interesting to look at people's predictions for the hub cap & GF at the start of the season.

Can't see Leeds dropping off any time soon, they seem to have an endless supply of kids coming through the grades and, not unnaturally, seem to be an attraction to youngsters from other clubs too. They would also seem to have the cash to cover any gaps. Agree Les Cats have had injury problems, that's true enough, but the gap between what they achieve at home and away suggests to me that unless they fix that problem then they aren't going to start winning anything any time soon. Still feel Hudds and Wire have been around at a decent level for long enough without either ever looking likely to go that extra inch [or so!]

Have to say I always find looking at how reality shapes up is more interesting than how the bookies or pundits think it will turn out, but yes, certainly looking forward to it.
