It would be a shame if today's signing leaves us short of cash that could have been used to sign Brierly if he is available.

You could just about afford Foxy now. If Brierley walks slowly east he will arrive at Leeds (sorry HQ) for the start of the season where they reckon he has signed already.

I had a bit of a Google for Foxy at the end of last year. He's coaching for some country side in NSW now.

And not that I'd turn Brierley down by any stretch of the imagination, but if we are going to sign a half back I'd hope it was one with a bit of nouse that Gaskell can run off. It'd be more the other way about if by some financial miracle he did end up with us.

The way I see it is if Brierley were to leave Leigh, although some Super League clubs will of left a bit of room on their salary caps to strengthen mid season, how many at this late stage are looking for an half back. Surely any team hoping to do well this season would of had their half backs sorted a long time ago. How many clubs do you know, super league or championship, who have aspirations of doing well this season, will be in need of an half back a week before the season starts. Answers on a post card please

Some very generous sentiments from Bulls' fans on the Rowley issue. It's good to see true RL fans going into print on it.
