It's not really a big money spinner either. Cup games are notoriously low attendances in recent years.
Playing SL opponents in the cup doesn't mean much in the over all scheme of things. After all, Leigh beat both Salford and Wakefield in the cup last year and then absolutely choked in the middle 8's.
I wouldn't want us to play a full reserve side, but I wouldn't be apposed to a few of the fringe guys getting a run out.

True, we had a good showing against HKR in the CC but in the 8's we got mullered

It is as well, Radio Leeds twitter have posted it. Probably to give both clubs more prep time for the easter weekend fixtures.

That'll exactly be the reason. Play it on Sunday and they're playing 3 games in 9 days. This way it's 3 in 11.

I can see why they've done it but it'll knock a few off the crowd.

There aren't many pubs to choose from really. The Royal Oak is probably the closet but I usually opt for Hanging Heaton working men's club a few minutes walk up the road. It can be easily missed if you're not aware of it. We were the only Bulls fans in there the last time we played Dewsbury but apparently it's were most other championship club supporters gather when they play them. Nothing special but relatively close to the ground and welcoming locals (even after we beat them).

I used to live up that way so I know the area. Most other pubs around there would involve a bit of a walk.
