I think a combination of good weather and cheap entry helped boost up the attendance yesterday.

Certainly seemed like a potentially profitable day anyway, given that several of the bars ran short of certain drinks and change

Thought we were scrappy 'til Peltz came on and the defensive effort seemed to settle down with the manic one man breaks from the line stopping. Would love to know the number of offloads that Donny got away.

Not sure about the slow start everyone was going on about. Was it really just a slow start or more that JK wanted us to take control of the game before shipping it out? He's certainly said that's how he wants the game played, quite a few times in fact, so the players maybe deserve credit for following team orders.

The result was a very good one against a good side like Donny, fair enough, they've dropped off a bit over recent weeks but they are a decent side and definitely not one to take for granted so - 56-14, yeah, I'll take that.

Presumably this explains the reduced viewing figures on Facebook. I have to watch the Proper Sport broadcast from here and the viewing figures seemed to be about half of the usual: 6 or 7 hundred as opposed to the usual 1.3/1.4 thousand.

Chisholm's best game for us this season without a doubt. Ethan Ryan's finishing was superb.

Smith's injury was a concern but Johnson filled in ok. Could be the chance for Oakes next week.

Chisholm I agree had some lovely touches yesterday but as the second half went along he looked to be really struggling. I don't know if he had taken a knock but was wandering round on the left side with his hands on his head and his defence was non existent. Would be surprised if it was the heat that was bothering him as he must have played in hotter conditions down under. Don't get me wrong I am a great Chisholm fan and think he certainly has the X factor but something was deffo bothering him.

That run from Lewis Bienek was quite something. Luckily for us he picked up a knock and left the field shortly after he steamrolled through 5 or 6 of our players and made 70 yards up the pitch

Nice try by Cameron Scott as well. As soon as I saw his name on the teamsheet I knew he'd score. Frustrates me to no end to see players like Cameron move away from this club and we're left with journeymen centres like Smith and Gibson instead.

IIRC Chisholm got flattened about the 60 min mark and had some attention to a leg knock from the physio.

Well we're on a pretty even keel now so we're in better shape to hold onto our own. There are a few coming through as well.

Just watched the highlights again - fantastic finishes by Ethan Ryan (yet again).

An observation though - the tackle attempt for his 3rd was pretty dangerous. He was tackled in the air and landed pretty awkwardly. Looks like he was tackled in the air for another one of the tries too.

Shouldn’t this be an 8 pt try or am I misunderstanding the rules?
