Feel sorry for the poor sods that draw them for the Monday night game on Premier sports.

The closest club to them is West Wales Raiders and that’s still a 12-13 hour round trip on a coach with two drivers.

As for any thoughts of tourists going to watch its Penryn which is on the south coast it’s not a bus or taxi ride from Newquay.

This makes zero sense. Plymouth, Exeter or Bristol would make more sense to me.

Clearly the idea remains to get as far away from the heartlands as possible without leaving the British Isles! They might as well be in Ottawa....

Why are we so obsessed with setting up teams in these far-flung places when we've not even covered our own heartlands yet. People in areas such as Brighouse and Wyke haven't anyone decent to watch so I think a new team based at Hartshead Moor service station would be really successful.

Bit myopic that there's an old man and his dog chomping at the bit to attend matches in Lerwick.

If you don't support this obviously mad idea you're a flat cap wearing luddite and don't want the game to prosper.

Sky will never pay us a decent money if the children of Shetland haven't got a professional club to aim for!

I think you're being a little parochial there mate. It's all very well nurturing the easy to reach nearby places like Shetland, but what about the children of Orkney? All they've got to look forward to is Satanism and being trapped in a wicker man.
