The negative reaction to the Sharp announcement/non-announcement has led to this charade.

Wouldn't surprise me in the least to see Sharp/Greenwood announced as that was probably the plan all along, they've both been seen regularly at Odsal in the past few weeks.

Why would a negative reaction to the announcement of Sharp create a delay in him being formally announced as coach - I dont get it.

So someone up at Odsal probably thinks it's a really good idea.

Re the T&A article, does Karl Harrison represent either of them? I remember a Super dooper league preview on sky sports news about 6 or 7 years ago when Martin Offiah was doing the preview. Asked to name a player who was gonna take the league by storm that season he said... Michael Worrincy.

Who by? In today’s modern world a picture on a phone is all the evidence you need to say that this person or that person was Odsal. If it’s Sharp/Greenwood combo then the club need to stop playing around with the fans and get on with the job

If you are Stuart Duffy as "Frank" is, then you would see them both at Odsal on regular occasions as you would have arranged to meet them there?

So following on from Karl Harrisons thoughts on who we should appoint has our next head coach we are now treated to his views on why our previous coach failed.I suppose everyone is entitled to an opinion but the timing of all this and with it coming from a players/coaches agent seems a liitle strange.

To me, it reads like "We were going to appoint Sharp. People don't seem to like that. So we'll interview a few blokes and go through the motions, and then afterwards we can still appoint Sharp, but can tell everyone that he was clearly the best candidate of those interviewed and stood out head & shoulders above the rest".

Let's be honest, we're all getting used to total guff coming out of the club these days, that you fully expect it on almost every press release. Although the press release will likely spell his name John Sharpe...

You maybe right Hamster but is anyone at the club really that good at spin?

Maybe it's just as simple as someone is dragging one interview out into as many articles as possible.

At least there's plenty of positive stuff coming out from official sources at the club about other things and the benefits of us buying season tickets, oh hang on....

Perhaps we've made the 3k target?
