What did people expect, keep FC as coach for ever because of what he did in 2012!!!
Spoils a pretty good record, not sacked a coach for many years, David Hobbs in 92 was the last 'sacking' I think, Peter Fox was ooc in 1995 when Brian Smith kick started Bull Power MacNamara should have been sacked though, when he accelarated our demise in 2008 and 9.

Yes, quite the slump for both teams...

Since being removed as Head Coach of Warrington, they have only managed to win the Challenge Cup on three occasions, a league leaders shield and Grand Final runners up twice.

As for Leeds, they really look to be struggling for form this year since Jimmy left and are sat in a lowly 2nd position.

I'm sure he'd fit right in at Odsal on the basis of his previous coaching successes!!!

Let's not forget Lowes classy offering fans into the car park during his hugely successful Salford gig.

I originally went for Kear but I'd say I've changed my mind and I'd go for a team of Morrison and Noble now.

I think you miss the point, James Lowes was kept on at Warrington because TS rated his abilities as a coach. He was still a coach there when they won those Challenge Cups. He was also a key part of Leeds success and highly rated by the players (at both clubs). As for his relationship with fans, when has it been acceptable to throw liquid at him and abuse his family. Just asking. Do you want to employ someone to sort the mess out at the Bulls or someone who just talks well (Noble & Kear) but can't do anything without a large wad of cash, something you don't have.

He can't do either!!!

A great player he was... a great Coach??? Not a chance!!!

He was kept on the coaching team to assess if he was worth keeping, and left when it was obvious he wasn't. Warrington needed someone to sort the club out and even with the endless resources of Simon Moran, he still failed to address the drinking/party culture that was so damaging to them at the time.

If he was so good at Leeds, why was he shipped out to pasture at Carnegie? Perhaps he wasn't the coach they thought he was.

We don't need someone who is liked, part of the boys... we need a manager and leader, something that FC hadn't mastered yet.

My choice would be Glenn Morrison as Head Coach with Nobby as Director of Rugby (acting as mentor to Morrison and assisting with the recruitment).

Duffy needs to step away from the playing side too. He's a media man, not a football expert. Why he was given that particular job I'll never know.

Top down, club would look healthier as follows...

Marc Green - Owner
Steve Ferres - Managing Director
Robbie Hunter-Paul - CEO
Danny Potticary - Commercial Director
Brian Noble - Director of Rugby
Glenn Morrison - Head Coach
Damian Gibson - Assistant Coach
Richard Tunningley - Head of Youth Development

Get rid of Stuart Duffy and Tom Clough. Both offer nothing to the club in their current roles.

Just a minor point how would we afford this lot in the championship?

Why have a go at Tom Clough, unless you know him or work with him how on earth can you make the sweeping assessment that he is not worth keeping on. Also, what would be your top 5 requirements of the new head coach? Genuine question as most supporters simply say finish in top 8 etc.

I actually have a lot of faith in R Hunter Paul to get the coaching appointment right, most of the time coaches are appointed by businessmen who have never played the game and wouldn't have the first clue what the skills are that make a good coach.
