I keep looking through the attendance stats for the drop of 5000, it does not seem to be there, we have shipped more off the average gate in the last few years when our off field activities have been attracting more attention than those on the field. Like most fans I have an irrational sentimental attachment to Odsal but going forward it is clear we need to take whatever steps are necessary to keep the money on maintaining the team on the pitch wherever that pitch might be in Braford.
Quite right.
The most pressing is the attendances and as FC has remarked on the Bulls website. The supporters who go to matches encourage everyone they know to go and be involved. The supporters have a right to demand high class, ruthless, competitive rugby from the club and the players.
Supporters have to put the past into the past and get up there, the Bulls are not just a team but representative of the great city of Bradford.
It is that same sense of passion, determination and ruthlessness from board to the team on the field that will project the club to success.
Mentioning sponsors, lets not forget Provident, they are keen to ensure that they can help and I am grateful for such a high profile and powerful sponsor.
