Well there's an interview with Ferres on the Sky Sports site where he says it's the wrong time to bring in new faces as it's cup weekend

He's right it is the wrong time, the right time being anytime before today. Any players that are required by clubs for Easter are also probably required for the rest of the season to continue covering potential injury, so they're not realistic targets anyway. I see a pattern forming preparing us for the lack of new recuits of any significant quality. Hope Im wrong but Id guess we'll get one new prop, one other loan signing and thats it. Hope Im wrong.

There is also a chance of one ore two from down under. Cummins said a few weeks back that we are now near the time where some decent players down under are either warming the bench or missing out to younger players and they may be keen on moving. There is some sense in that if you are pushing 30 and not getting games. It doesn't mean they are rubbish. There could be some decent players like this that could go OK in SL.

think the most realistic targets are players in the Queensland or NSW cups if you have quota space and the UK border agency clear them....or championship players who want a crack at SL and are in last year of contracts so Transfer fees wont be too high
