it is a shame we cant as bulls fans push a claim against the rfl for their interference in the administrations as their input has clearly not helped. The stipulations and punishments were never going to aid an organisation to thrive not that I am supporting Chalmers but whoever did take over may have challenged this more if it wasnt for the rfl insisting and bringing in their yes man. I am not blaming the rfl as a conspiracy against us as they haven't allegedly mislaid pension payments for 3 years nor do I know of any involvement.

Almost worth a gold star Dom. Clearly the Bulls fans can't push a claim against the RFL, but what about all the creditors who have lost out?

Right, apologise if this is a bit long winded and apologise for this been from a purely personal point of view.

Elliot was born in 1996, first year of super league. I can remember when he was a baby he had a baby grow which said “born to be a Bull” for that to come true, well, words can’t fully explain. All he ever wanted as kid was to play for the Bulls, he went to all the grand finals as a young kid, mad about the club.
When he signed 2 year ago it was his dream come true, which in turn made my dream come true. To think now that some thieving b%stard has now ruined all that is absolutely disgusting. Anger, bitterness, don’t even come close to how I’m feeling.
He’s vice captain and when Steve doesn’t play or goes off in a game, Elliot is captain on the field. For a lifelong Bulls/Northern fan it doesn’t get any better than watching your son captain your team. I reckon he’s done ok in the 2 years he’s been at the Bulls. It has been said, by someone who’s opinion Elliot really does value, that he’s never seen anybody give as much or it means as much to play for your own team, the team you support.
About this time last year I was in Benidorm and it was announced Elliot had signed a 3 year deal. I really was overwhelmed with the comments on here, on the Facebook groups, messages I received, it was unbelievably overwhelming. I go to Benidorm again soon, what a bleeding difference 12 months make.
All thanks to someone. Hope they are really proud of what they have done and the consequences it causing.
Let’s hope someone ends up in court over all this and pays for ruining people’s dreams
Rant over

[quote="nestegg"]Yes, but in most sports as far as we are aware a CVA does not mean any resulting points deduction. For example, look at recent events at Yorkshire Carnegie in the world of rugby union. Given that they appear to be a law to themselves, not sure what would be the situation with the dear old RFL.[/qu

Different sport. Different resolution.

In a way it is but he has achieved his dream of playing for and captaining his boyhood club. He is revered by the fans and he is still young enough to build on what he has done at the Bulls to have a great career.
Thanks Elliot

Reply from Bramley Dog - "Different sport. Different resolution".

Different sport - yes, as we said B Dog.

Different resolution - that's what we were querying mate, i,e, what would be the impact of a CVA be in the fair and transparent world of rugby league. According to the horse's mouth (down under Ralph) it would appear that the RFL would in fact 'presently' consider a CVA to be an 'insolvency event' leading to a 12 point deduction (as we think another poster indicated yesterday evening).

So, the latest and ever expanding live odds re the way forward are now sadly gauged to be as follows:

a) Likelihood of new consortium taking over a formal shareholder interest in the club - 35%;
b) Likelihood that the club will be in administration/ formal 'insolvency event' before Xmas - 68%;.
c) Likelihood that any fans will now buy 2020 season tickets given what we already know- common sense would suggest that such a likelihood must be rapidly plummeting and may soon get close to zero. Why we understand that at least one fan was asking for a refund today on their 2020 season ticket, but were refused (which is no surprise), and
d) Likelihood that a nestegg consortium may ultimately take an interest - ??.

Well i suppose only you or 'we' know the answer to d) But if it's yes then i'd be confident you couldn't do any worse than the previous lot.

Where does Xmas come into this? I would assume we’ll either be taken over or insolvent by close of play Monday

Most annoying is why the fans, the very lifeblood of not just their Club, but also the very game, be denied an immediate update on the Club's position. Bit thin if they are fearing a drop in ST take up imo.
