Well my source is the man himself explained everything and all the circumstances just before it was announced officially.

But all said and done it's time to move on and concentrate on the upcoming season still have a group of players we need to support - players will always come and go but the club always stays the same #COYB

I heard this from a source I trust. Also heard Sammut was already on a wage approaching £200000. If thats the case he was not providing value for money. Far too inconsistant.

Way way way off the mark try more around the 80k mark

Good call, and im sure those of us turning up tomorrow will do, but its a two way street supporting a club, and for the past few years its been all one way, support from us and bad news coming from the club, so its hardly surprising theres some who are just too weary from watching our decline.

Sammut wasn't playing sunday anyway. We had 3 halfs to find a spot for, now we have two. Let back and trust in Gale and Gaskell and hope to buggery neither gets injured. My biggest problem is hes gone to strengthen a direct rival for the drop.

Hes not helping us now so hes forgotten. Good to hear from Scruton, following the good news from Gale and Sidlow.
We can all make a difference by turning up in numbers tomorrow and getting right behind the team.

How many administrations would you expect him to go through with your club - "like a spoilt child he walked out" if that was really the case the guy would have gone a long time ago when clubs with a chance of winning some silverware still has some cash to splash - you know the ones who are run well and sort out their playing roster before preseason -rather than waiting until the new season has already started!
The players are blokes with bills to pay and mouths to feed not fans! I'd say sammut has been more loyal to your club than he had to be- but given the reaction on here it seems he was wasting his time!

Well he joined our club from one that went into administration. And he has left it to join one that has been in a CVA, administration and threatened further administration. And he has left a club that had its playing roster sorted out pre-season for one which clearly did not. He's certainly a glutton for punishment, isn't he?

I don't think most posters are blaming Sammut (most have no position to as they don't know whats gone on).

But i think most posters are just gutted he's gone and even more gutted we've sold him to a relegation rival.
