I'm not sure it's quite so clear cut.
Just judging McNally on his time at the Bulls, he's had his good games, for sure but spent a great deal of time injured and been pretty average in far too many games for someone who came with a big (and admittedly) deserved rep for his time at Leigh. I'll accept that McNally MAY well be much better with a after a good pre-season, etch etc, but Pickers has been mucked about position wise, has never been worse than good (where ever he's played) and often been brilliant and has shown a constant, steady improvement over the season, and he is also much the younger with a lot of, still unfulfilled, potential.
