It's not that odd a selection. Smith has started Addy at hooker previously. Usually when he wants a big more muscle in the forwards.
However, it IS strange that O'Brien has been left out completely.

Still, let's see what the afternoon brings.

I have a lot of respect for Rohan but I think omitting OB is just plain wrong and I don't understand. Maybe I'm just thick but can't see the reasoning. OB running against a big part time Featherstone pack late on and on a hot day would be the right option in my opinion. Hope I'm wrong.

It sounds like the referee is giving us a hard time. but i count the two Whelham chances as our only real chances to score in the first half?
