Indeed. I agree about the quality and would prefer some heavier cloth, better stitching plus embroidery - like we used to get before, in fact. That said, it used to be the 'tradition' that manufacturers would give you that higher quality for a couple of years and then, sort of, let it quietly drop off, sadly ISC didn't even start with the well made stuff, so I doubt it's going to happen this time round. Then again, I wouldn't even pretend to know if this is simply a manufacturer thing or if they just deliver the quality the clubs ask for...
In truth, I know I'll buy it anyway, I always do - at least one or the other - just because it's
my team's shirt and this year won't be any different, I guess. At the end of the day, they're largely just worn for one year anyway, so wearability [is there such a word?] isn't really a major issue for me when I think about it.
