Iv'e still not seen one quote from the Radford all the club that says he was intersted in signing Gale at this time. The only quotes I have seen are from the HDM, which is known to make things up.

We haven't room on the salary cap for Gale as radford says.

Your happy he is staying, we are happy he hasn't signed.

Very good news. Hull were in for him, its clear (Radford said as much). And we've not lost our vice captain and playmaker 4 days before the start of the season. (clearly to the disappointment of some people who wish us nothing but ill) Last seasons patchy form, partly due to injuries, is not the main issue, how many genuine 7's are there around to easily replace him? Losing Carvell and Gale this week would have been a body blow because it would be seen as open season on our players. Gale extension is a statement of intent, maybe not earth shattering, but its better than a lot of the news we've been having this winter, along with the Sidlow extension and new parties interested in investing I'm seeing this as positive. Dave K. FYI; Radfords comments on gale in t&a Former Bulls forward Radford said: “When Bradford’s issues surfaced we made a play for Luke and were told categorically he was not for sale." The article reads like he's talking about our admin of last week, but you're right, everyone seems happy...just send over the cheque for gc now and we can all move on

We made a move for him months ago, but since signed Rankin, that is what Radford is taking about, not in the last week.

The cynic is me sees this one of two ways;

1. He'll be moving on at the end of the season, relegated or otherwise (how many other lads have signed contract extensions only to move on 6 months later?! clue: the two that are his bezzie mates)

2. He'll be the new Sykes and Platt, too much money for too long.

*sigh* Still, we carry on.

Aardvark even your own fans agree with me, to be fair to gale his agent wont be the first or last to get a good deal with these methods, just hope the carvell situation gets sorted soon for the sake of both clubs, good luck for the new season chaps

Rubbish,Gale has been deciding over last couple of days whether to accept Hulls offer, Miller must be really pleased he hasn't got Radfords backing

Or He's been using the rumours about Hull's interest as leverage to get a better deal at the Bulls.... and he did get a better deal.

We will probably never know the truth, but I'm sure his agent is laughing all the way to the bank...

Believe me. He had an offer from Hull FC. Radders thinks Miller is nowhere near good enough. You won't get Gale now but watch out for Miller being sent the same way as the Full Back.
