Plots of average points conceded versus points scored. Top right good, bottom left bad.

The size of the circles represent percentage of close games won, where "close" is any game with a winning margin of one converted try or less. For comparison, Sheffield won 100% of those. Doncaster and Featherstone didn't win any.





Surprised to see Huddersfield doing so poorly in those close games. I've only plotted this year but I have run the numbers for past years and that seems to hold true across their whole period of almost but not quite success. They're the best team in the league at turning games against high scoring opponents into close games, but they're also the worst team in the league at winning close games.
