For Adam's sake I hope he gets a fair crack at SL now. He is clearly more than good enough for it and he needs game time in that division now. Another season in the Championship won't improve his game much.

His passing from acting half is spot on giving our half backs so much time today and made a massive difference. Reminds me very much of Paul Rowley.

I love rugby league. I moved from halifax . Still support them home and away for most games.

All clubs should have academies and reserves to help the game prosper. The RFL should help with this. Hopefully this would stop club's going bust.

Halifax lost a potential quality player to another SL team for nothing.Pretty much like player's you lost from your investment in youth.

The great game needs sorting.

Clough was totally anonymous last night and Gaskell was caught out of position several times (as well as being nowhere that high bomb). Perhaps they'll get dropped next week as the Giants fans seem to be demanding - and they'll end up at Halifax as well?

Mind you we probably wouldn't want those two on loan

Dunno which Giants fans you've been talking to as most of us have been very impressed with Gaskell in his 1st 2 games, probably in the top 3 players so far for us.

Being fantastically optimistic following the Swinton result I will ask how many points did the two teams get that were relegated last year? And is it a playoff for any of the relegation places?

Whitehaven finished with 20 points after bottom 8's last year and were 2nd bottom.
