Chisholm was outstanding for us. The TEAM got outplayed by fev. The forwards didnt get out of iur half that day. Chisholm wasn't the reason we lost. Not sure what point you are trying to make.
OK, let's make it simple for you - a HB can't play without the forwards laying a foundation. Get it now?
If you've still not twigged,t I'll spell it out...... you do not need a HB you need some hairy assed forwards.
I think you may have lost it. You desperately need some grunt up front. Putting Wally Lewis and Alan Langer in your team wouldn't help much whilst they're being totally dominated in the forwards.....

For Dane personally, injury is a terrible thing where you cant get on the field and help, but Im sure theres a good chance his contract will be for full pay if injured and his value despite that injury probably went up because of the game against Hull Kr and the lasting memory that will have on people meaning he can probably demand an even bigger contract next season.

Any player who is out of the game for 8 months with a knee reconstruction is a huge risk for any club to take on.

I wasnt commenting on the fact we need grunt its your slating of Chisholms performance in a game where the whole team bottled it, starting with the forwards giving him no platform to work from whatsoever

According to Chalmers he is one of the top 2 earners at the club. Can't see that being increased when we drop into Ch1.

Wont stop him asking and with the fans backing after his "miracle" performance against KR it will put a bit of pressure on the board to not let him slip through your fingers again.

By next year it may be 'backing of the fan'(singular)
