They deserved the win.

Nothing wrong with the refereeing.

They didn't play **** house tactics - just with enthusiasm and energy.

We looked like we were on the bus.

Multiple forward passes in decent position.

Twice we fluffed at PTB in second half - in good positions.

Chisholm a liability - the first laying on in front of posts - 2 points and 10 mins with 12 men.

His head high tackle was ridiculous - deserved to be off.

At 6 points clear with 15mins to go we repeatedly invited them to attack with sloppy play.

In attack - disogranised and I think we only managed one repeat set.

We left with 15 mins left on the clock when I said - we will lose this by a point - you could see it coming.

They were not that good - but played honest hard rugby.

So thats the second time we have traipsed up there to look daft - last time it was Sammut who took the hiss all afternoon.

Yesterday - some vociferous gloating from Pryce & KashKow - need to just walk away.

And thats the last time we are going there - end of.

Nothing wrong with that philosophy at all I don't think. Other than right at the start of the game when we took the early two I can't think of any other instance where we should have run the ball instead of taking the two. Going for the two points when you're a man down (which we did) is pretty much standard across the board, wind the clock down.

Anyway I think we were probably just tired after playing three games in 10 days. Disappointing to lose it in the way that we did but we were never going to go all season unbeaten. In some ways it might take some pressure off a little bit.

Spot on really.
I don't think we played really badly but looked lethargic at times, and certainly the extra game over Easter wouldn't have helped. Nor did Chissy getting binned twice. I'll forgive the high shot; it was an instictive arm, thrown out by tired defender on a player who "stepped", and to be fair Chissy takes more of those than he receives and it didn't appear in any way deliberate. I don't forgive the laying on though, that was just plain daft as our defence looked pretty set anyway, but the end result of both was that we played a quarter of the game with a man down.

Tactically, I thought we went back to trying to fizz the ball out wide without using the forwards to gain dominance first, even on a wider pitch it isn't the best gameplan and on such a narrow field the gap out wide doesn't just isn't going to appear like that. I'm pretty sure JK didn't tell them to do it.

Agree with Nothus about the defeat though. It was always going to happen sooner or later and losing the unbeaten tag fairly early in the season could actually be seen as an advantage as it is no longer an extra pressure on our backs.

Best team won and we were lucky to be level pegging at half time.

Fully agree. Peltiers contribution in last couple mins in first half [pen win and then a try] was about our only aggressive move in those first 40 mins.Very frustrating.
