| Quote Bulls4="Bulls4"Yeah pretty happy with that performance against a good london side. First half wasn’t great and we let ourselves down defensively but much improved second half took us to within goal kicks of getting a result.
Very strange decision towards the end of the first half first with Dixon knocking on and the ref giving a penalty to London. They fail to find touch and in the following set MDJ is clearly pulled back a few times preventing him scoring. Other than that I don’t think we could complain about 50/50 calls from the ref. Heard a few saying Krasniqi threw a punch at hallas but I didn’t see it.
I like hallas for his work rate and heart but Doyle gives us so much more in attack. Maybe needs to be brought on sooner.
Either way, decent enough performance and a shame to come close and get nothing. Hopefully play like that consistently and we will be ok this year.'"
Can’t disagree with anything you’ve said there. That passage of play before half time was mind boggling and very frustrating.
Young Doyle looks to be some player. A good break with his first touch, great awareness for his try and the attack looks sharper with him there. I’ve got loads of time for Halas. He’s as tough as they come, but once George is available I’d imagine we’ll see more of him at 13. No bad thing when you consider the lack of experience in the pack, although saying that I was very impressed with the likes of Gallagher, Scurr, etc.

| I thought we were the better side for most of the game and deserved more. It was a great game against strong opposition and bodes well for the rest of the season imo. Some of the hits were downright cruel and the game was a credit to both sides. Pickers was my standout, his positioning, catching and tackling were outstanding, I love to know how Sir Keith viewed his play... Plenty of other good performances too from too many to name tbh, though I think Doyley definitely deserves a mention in dispatches as he was instrumental in the fightback in the second half.
For what it's worth, I've no moans about the ref; no one is perfect and it's only human to make the odd mistake. He is at the sort of level you'd expect in this division, and just like the teams, is working to improve.

| Pick seems to have risen to another level over the winter. Two stand outs for me were the one on one ball and all tackle and the high ball he took running backwards towards the post. Made both look like he was shelling peas whereas last years I'd have money on him missing at least one of them.
To say we lost I was happy and looking forward to the next game as we left.
Was also good to see Elliot M there supporting the lads. Has there been any other player that's played L1, Ch and Super League in successive seasons whilst not being loaned or DR's?

| Really pleased with the effort and skill involved. Another day we could have come out with both points or at least a share of them. I agree that Brandon P was outstanding I can't recall him missing a high ball all match and two or possibly three try saving last ditch tackles. Having said that I thought young Gallagher and Doyle ran him close. The ref didn't do too bad except for one decision which happened right in front of me when at the play the ball a London player(not sure who) simply dived to the floor and conned the ref into giving a penalty which led to what turned out to be the winning try and we only lost by 4. So be it. If we can maintain that sort of consistency we should be in for a better season than I originally thought,

| No-one seems to have mentioned the gate which was 2637 according to the T&A. I think that's quite reasonable to be honest, given all the circumstances, and with performances like that (assuming they continue) there is every hope that more may drop back into the fold.

I assume very few away fans as well?
Every reason to think there'll be more from the likes of Halifax, Leigh, Fev, Batley - even Dewsbury ought to bring a few

Yes, I agree.
There were a few noisy "Larndan" fans on the open terrace and probably a few scattered around the ground as well, but unsurprisingly, not that many. Not that I expect we would take quite as many as we do if we had to travel as far as London do every week!

| London fan here who attended the game on Sunday. It was 546 mile round trip. We set out at 8am and got home just after 11pm, having made a couple of stops each way.
It was quite entertaining speaking to a lady in the bar prior to the game who complained it had taken here half an hour to get to the game.
I live in Kent, it takes me ninety minutes on a good day, to get to a home game. I would say that the majority of London fans travel at least an hour to attend home games.
I am not complaining, just pointing out following the Broncos home and away takes commitment. I am fortunate to be able to to do so.
Widnes in a couple of weeks another 500 plus miles. But then following the Broncos is what I do on a Sunday.

That's some commitment
I did like the fact that, on the way out of the ground, we walked past London players speaking to the London fans and knowing their names. Good to know you're appreciated eh?
