Indeed, but be honest, how many times have you thought that in the last couple of seasons? Yet we always seem to find another, deeper, hole for hope to drain into.

Precisely. Every time we think we've hit rock bottom, something else turns up. Every time something positive appears to be on the horizon, it gets shot down and we're right back in the dirt again.

I've stopped getting any hopes up at all, and I don't think anything but a year or two of no bad news will change my outlook.
