It's almost like Mick wants everyone to think he's in the know, but he's no more in the know than most on this forum. Occasionally we all hear rumours but then Mick passes it off as fact. Richie Mathers signing prime example. Mick tweeted that Marc Green had opened his chequebook as if to say to everyone "i know who's signed and you don't" then when Mathers signed and everyone turned on him saying how have we opened the cheque book, his reply was "Mathers isn't playing for free" well the bar staff don't work for free but it's not opening the cheque book to pay them is it. Proved he had no idea who we had signed but wanted everyone to think he had.
He's been tweeting for about a year about the biggest story in RL about to hit Leigh, like he's one of the few people who knows about this year long story line. Still waiting for it to happen. Basically there is no story he just wants everyone to think he knows about this "bug" story.
And the stuff he tweets, he could one day find himself in trouble if a club decides to take legal action as he his basically accusing them of strong stuff.
I couldn't pledge to the RAB sponsorship this year due to finances, but Peter Hood put his name down. By all accounts he never paided. For someone who commentates on the team and cares about them, for him to do that I find incredibly sad.
