2015 - major missed opportunity, 2016 - stronger teams = harder task (no problem there then), 2017 - OMG What now!!!

Re: Administration 3 - now in technicolour : Wed Nov 16, 2016 5:21 pm
I know it's just a small thing....the RFL did not control the purse strings at Bradford. If you know what's coming in you know what you have to go out. Stop blaming the RFL and keep the blame on the officials at your club. Feel sorry for the Bradford fans and from the list of interested parties about three quarters of them have been involved in the disaster that has been the last 5 years.

If the Bulls is now a Community club, as is BPA and both play on Council turf, is there a way forward in building a Community stadium. This would rid us of the Odsal millstone and provide a home for both Clubs with sports facilities for the wider public as well.Such a solution would benefit all concerned financially I would have thought.

According to my good friend Mr Google, Brook-Crispin sold Seabrook last year for 35m and is no longer involved in the Crisp empire.

Lol, you almost make that out to be some sort of negative when, basically, he's a guy with £35M burning a hole in his pocket...

From what I can remember/fathom from previous it's basically highest bidder wins, right?

So hopefully Lawn or whoever will do it properly this time and not the Koukash white knight approach and apparently offering bugger all.

It's ok issuing the rallying call from Lawn and gaining the public favour but if he doesn't front up then it's mere talk.

Right?

Isn't it the person that offers the best deal for the creditors? The Administrator isn't interested in the future plans for the club, only for the best deal for the creditors.

I seem to recall that's how Green ended up winning out last time. The others had far FAR more money, and all sorts of plans to spend it on the team etc - but they offered very little to the creditors. But Green - who I think actually was the main creditor - was able to win the club by offering to pay off the creditor (i.e himself)

Or maybe I just got that all wrong - it's all a bit of a haze from back then... :?

Apologies, that sort of what I meant. Who would be the highest bidder to pay the most to the creditors. And for all his talk it seemed the Koukash clan didn't offer the bestestest.

I just worry one party will get the fans backing and not offer the best deal. Or those that do have the club tread water for a bit before sinking.

Still baffled. If it's £650k he'll be owed the most out of all the creditors.

The lease on the ground isn't the club's or administrators to sell. It's owned by the RFL.

Directors loans which he can choose to call in or not? The previous Wakey chairman, Glover, is still owed half a million or something, or was, but chose not to call it in, I think. If he loses control of the business, he wants his cash back. It might be a good indicator of how much he has put in.

The RL statement is now out

http://www.rugby-league.com/kingstone_p ... ford-bulls

Confirms that the administrator makes his recommendation then they determine if they accept it or tell them to go away.

Focuses on the fit and proper person test, and that the appropriate sanction will be determined later but could include RELEGATION. Don't remember hearing that before.

Some comment from Lawn about putting people in that hadn't run a rugby team, but didn't the RL put Ferres in to address that concern? Fat lot of good that did us, so where people say we should look internally at where the blame lies, the RL have a degree of culpability with the selection of a fit and proper person and their delegate to ensure we were run on proper lines.
