Blessed are the charitable and lo they shall inherit much less than expected!

But there is no need to worry as the rfl have checked the finances in detail?

Big game this weekend - so even if he's not speaking to the press - you would hope he's giving some encouragement to the guys wearing the shirt against Widnes.

Indeed, but this season it must have been clear to anyone whos looked at the financial situation that this season, prior to funding next year, and with no ST income and very little good will from fans or sponsors, that this season was about donation, with investment very much in second place.

And the team needs 4 players adding in short order to be competitive, and any new owner unwilling or unable to do this shouldn't have bid imho. And he does suffer (unfairly maybe) in comparison to the public statements of intent by Mr/Mrs Koucash of bringing in 3 players immediately and investing £1m immediately. Might have been all talk, might not have been (given what they've spent at Salford Id guess it wasnt just talk) but the comparason is there.

And FWIW, Im not interested if he dosent speak to the press, I've heard enough guff from clowns running my club over the past few years that all Im interested in is action. And thats bringing in new players at the moment, Id suggest it was always very unlikely for this weekend, but I'd expect some reinforcements next week. Dont need press statements, need positive action.

It's 2 days since the announcement. This weeks signing deadline was last night. So it would have been very difficult to add to the squad in time for this weekend.
Everybody is nervous and apprehensive given our experiences over the past few years.
But rather than rush to judgement let's see what transpires in the next 2 weeks

Exactly. The guys who saved Wakey didn't splash the cash striaght away. They got their house in order and are looking to rebuild the business. And the success of that can be partly seen by the ability to bring in a high scoring exciting half back and an excellent prop just after the start of the season from a relegation rival. If we follow a similar route then fair enough, and if the timings mean its too late to avoid relegation then thats our own fault as a previously failing organisation. We should have restructured during the franchise period when relegation wasnt on the cards, but 20:20 hindsight is great isn't it.

Judge by actions, not words.

Excellent point, over the last few seasons one of the main criticisms levelled at the Bulls and in particular on this forum has been about a perceived lack of communication with the fans, and a perceived pisspoor communication on those occasions when they did release statements. In the majority of cases those criticisms were fair comment too.

But if given the choice I think most would now prefer it if we were a prospering club, in the top 4 with a formidable squad, oozing cash, with total contemptuous silence from those in charge.

I have great admiration for the band playing on as Titanic sank, but if I'd been on board, if given the choice I'd pick staying afloat in silence.

Just because he hasn't come out publically and said he will pump in whatever is need to keep the Bulls in SL doesn't mean he won't. Afterall he is going to have to put in £1m+ this year just to get to the end of the season, that will be money lost if he lets the Bull fold after that. Also it will be investment wasted if as so many think being relegated is a deathknell, so his only way of getting his money back is making the Bulls a success or selling them quickly for more than he paid for it.

Then again he could be a life long Bulls fan and just wants to do what Ken Davy has done for the Giants

Unfortunately he's a life long Leeds fan.
