think clubs ringing to ask what he needed would be along the lines of you can have x,y,z on loan for a month or more....but x,y,z, are currently playing at Championship club on DR and don't figure in our top 25......
There's a gulf between what is readily available and what is needed.....

Could they be ringing to say XYZ is a numpty that's gone on loan to Hunslet whilst we think what to do with him, why not make us an offer?

TRUE....but the numpty is probably on good money and has 18 months on contract left so unless they sack him he will stay put as he knows next year he is still at a SL club......

the players that are real targets at the moment are those in last year of contract now and do not make the 17 week in week out as they are not guaranteed to be retained next year anyway......
