Yeah think that report was wrong (the usual reason). Same applied to Crossley and Chisholm both of whom were assumed to be on 2 year deals according to the official press release but turned out to be 1 year deals.

I disagree. Delaney could still do a job in the Championship. He would bring the type of experience that Kear values. Adding both Webster and Delaney to the squad would help next year.
As Bullseye says many Rhinos fans think he’s “broken” ..... but they tend to be the same fans who lobbied for McDermotts sacking, hailed Sir Kev as the saviour and thought McGuire was also past it.
When Delaney played this past season ( with a fractured eye socket) the Leeds defence was far grittier and didn’t leak points.
We have the basis of a good squad next year. I hope all the unsigned players who featured in the last 2 matches will be with the club in 2019. Webster is signed , hopefully add Laithwaite and Egodo and then a couple more seasoned players to go with the good crop of youngsters recruited by John Bastian. I think we can challenge.

We've got to try and get Jy signed on a permanent basis. Otherwise another club is going to snap him up if they haven't already done.

Just watched jys interview from yesterday he said he’d love to stay and Kear said he’s gunna be grafting over signings again from tomorrow so we will have to see!

Fair enough. Like you say, wouldn't be the first time the report was wrong, as is certainly the case with Chisholm.

Incidentally I got told tonight that Delaney was a certainty. Don't know how true, but the lad that told me is right more than he's wrong.

Yeah doesn't excite me either. Minchella and hopefully Laithwaite are definitely ahead of him. However if we do get Delaney, it would be on a PT deal so wouldn't break the bank.

Leeds announced he was joining another club part time, so I think that's nailed on (whether it's Bradford or not).

Delaney be a good one for me. Experienced cover for all back row positions, cover front row as emergency. Model pro, vastly experienced, hard as nails.

A role model and mentor to good crop of yhiuhng backrowers such as Minichella, Storton, and Hodgson.

Roger Daly, is Elliot really only 22, he seems to have been around forever now.

Yea mate he’s 22. He played his 100th first team game a few week ago. I would hazard a guess he’s scored approx 60 tries. Wouldn’t mind seeing his exact stats
