Well if it's just to cover Lumb's injury, it won't do any harm. By all accounts Howarths distribution is slow, but he is a grafter.

This Rohan Smith chappie doesn't mess around.
First he's made a quick and open decision that Adam O'Brien should not be expected to play 80 minutes . Second he's given Joe Lumb a chance - which he's taken . Third , when Lumb is injured ( hope it's not too serious) , he's signed a decent player in Howarth.
And if the London half back story is true, young Keyes is an excellent choice.

Joe Keyes was being touted by Wakefield at the start of the season but London didn't want to sell.
