So... Gareth Carvell must have been happy on the day we Tuped him over to the newco, otherwise there wouldn't have been an issue with him leaving.
His agent has then come in after the 1 day deadline (i think this is the case), and said to GC "Hull are interested, and i can get you more money and better security, but it may drag out a little as we are a little bit late in refusing the tupe" GC agrees to this, yet we have already registered him with the RFL.
GC then does a Peter Odemwingi, and drives over to Hull himself, hoping to force the issue.
The Hull paper says he's about to sign for them.
RHP and the Bulls then publicly state that GC is contracted to the Bulls and refuse to just let him leave for free.
It is then announced that GC is having a fitness test at Hull, but Lee Radford comes out and says GC and the Bulls situation is complicated, and Luke Gale is no longer a target.
I think there are 3 options to resolve this sorry saga.
1 - GC says sorry and resumes the deal with us (Bradford).
2 - Hull pay us for his registration,( amount we have paid in wages and expenses since his deal began).
3 - RFL will rule GC is a free agent and can sign for Hull for free.
My guess is option 2.
