Your obsession with me is slightly worrying now.

FWIW I would never park anywhere in Wakefield. I have nice Pirelli tyres on my alloys and the temptation for the local yokels would be too much I fear.

Still, why they would need wheels for their horse and cart is a mystery.

Edward the most worrying thing as far as I'm concerned is that you think that anybody of sound mind would be obsessed with you.
Most people take their caravans to the seaside, not park them on the doorstep of the club their playing in a play off final, how you came into possession of the pirelli's and the alloys is none of my business really, although you could perhaps explain to me why you fear that the temptation might be too great for the locals' to relieve you of your prize possessions' when in fact as you put it they all share a horse and cart, now that Edwin is mystic :D

The most worrying thing as far as I am concerned is that you clearly think that you have a sound mind.

I am neither rich, nor Bradfordian.

I sympathise. It is hard to get spare parts for Austin Montegos these days.

Usually park on Elm Tree Street opposite the ground and never had a problem in the 25yrs I've been visiting Belle Vue.

I've also never had an issue parking at Odsal. I grew up around there (Odsal and Low Moor) so I know its an alright place to live. I've never understood the notion of Odslum any more than when fans call Headingley Shedingley?

Think both grounds have their charms and identity and would rather watch a game at both than at a stadium like Huddersfield which has absolutely no atmosphere at all.

I'm really looking forward to the second leg. I don't think eight points is too big a gap, plus we have 16 away points.

Wasn't the Premiership semi-final over 2 legs? I think we came from behind at Odsal to beat Saints in 78 so there is a clear precedent.

Re: Million Pound Game - Wakefield vs Bradford : Wed Oct 07, 2015 7:04 pm
I actually like the idea of playing the game over two legs and taking the aggregate score.

It would give more money to the losing team and remove the need of booking a neutral ground.

If you have to keep the MPG in isolation, why not give all of the gate receipts to the losing side.

I'd be happy to wager that the gap between the bottom of SL and Top of Championship actually closes. My reasoning is that to improve interest, the RFL have to make it happen. Look forward to seeing an increase in the Champ salary cap and the deadline for signings moving forward. My other reason is that I don't think the RFL want to take on Derek in Court (Bad publicity) as if he wins it will have far reaching consequences. It will be much easier to just appease him whilst retaining a bit of a gap.

There is also a case for a bonus points system in SL now so that we don't get a repeat of this year where Wakefield just gave up. That was a terrible look for the comp, although ultimately very smart.

Appeasement has been shown to not be a good thing. Before you know where you are Derek would have annexed West Yorkshire
